Greetings from (you guessed it) Vegas—where it’s always loud, always bright, and somehow always exactly how you left it. But what wasn’t the same was what I just experienced at ServiceNow K25. This wasn’t your typical conference. This was a bold, brilliant display of where we are heading—not just in tech, but in how business gets done.
For those who know me, you know I’ve always lived at the intersection of process and tools. I’m a systems engineer, a process architect at heart—and watching everything come together at K25 was, frankly, exhilarating.
We are deep in the Age of AI. And if your organization is still kicking around terms like digital transformation or business vs. IT, I hate to break it to you, but you’re already two technological revolutions behind. The game now? AI orchestration at scale.
What does that mean? It’s no longer just about having AI tools sprinkled throughout your tech stack. It’s about weaving them together into a true digital workforce—one that can operate autonomously, collaborate in real-time, and drive your business forward with speed and precision that no human team alone can achieve.
One of the standout innovations was ServiceNow’s Control Tower—a powerful dashboard that gives you eyes on everything your AI agents are doing: productivity, performance, cost savings… it’s all there, beautifully visualized. This isn’t sci-fi. This isn’t smoke and mirrors. This is real, operational AI, live and scaling today.
And let’s talk about SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management). One thing I’ve always admired about ServiceNow is that they probably understand your enterprise better than you do. They know where the bottlenecks are, where the opportunities lie, and—thanks to all that rich telemetry—they can now turn that insight into action. Imagine a system that understands your strategy, your delivery capability, and automatically assembles an actionable, realistic plan. That’s what’s emerging here.
But here’s the tough-love moment:
If you haven’t figured out how to move with agility—little a, not big A—you’re in deep trouble.
This isn’t about dogma. It’s about building an enterprise that is responsive, resilient, and architected for change. The pace of decision-making has shifted from the boardroom to near-real-time digital collaboration. If your systems, processes, and culture aren’t set up to keep pace, you’re going to fall behind—fast.
We had some incredible conversations about this, particularly around how SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is evolving to meet the moment. Think lighter, faster, AI-supported. Imagine planning cadences infused with telemetry and your own organizational digital twin feeding real-time insight into your strategy. It’s no longer a vision—it’s the near horizon.
A massive thank you to Yoav Boaz, Doug Page, Thomas Camacho, and Frederic Champlain from ServiceNow for meeting early with me to talk about the future of SPM with SAFe. These conversations are the connective tissue between ideas and impact, and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
One thing that was reinforced over and over: no one wins alone. ServiceNow gets that. Even in a world of “coopetition”—where JIRA, for example, is both a competitor and a critical integration partner—they recognize that the ecosystem wins when we all work together. That kind of pragmatism is key to making all of this work in the real world.
And I’ve got to give a special shoutout here to my friend and valued partner, Dr. Wiselin Mathuram, founder of International Business Consultants. Wiselin and his team are doing incredible work building out a massive ServiceNow + SAFe practice. They’re a shining example of what’s possible when you combine deep expertise with true partnership. It’s partnerships like these that are pushing the entire ecosystem forward.
And just a personal note—I’ve been doing this a long time. I’ve seen trends come and go, shiny objects rise and fade. But I can honestly say: I haven’t been this excited about the future of work, business, and technology in a long, long time. The opportunities ahead—powered by AI, fueled by smart partnerships, and guided by resilient frameworks—are massive.
So, my advice? Get ready. Stay curious. Let’s build the future—together.
